Frankie

"Frankie" is a figure sculpture made from light stoneware ceramics. She underwent many oxidation firings for underglaze, glaze, and oxide washes. This labor of love was then finished with a tissue paper adhesive along the inside of the figure.

The semi-self-portrait back is carved out, she is left in pieces. She is not defined by the marks upon her or what she lacks.
